Who ever posts something new on their blog on Saturday? Let me think... ME! It wouldn't be a diary if I skipped a day... I had a fabulous day yesterday. I spent it with my kids playing, reading, painting (yes, I'm practically involved with our new house coming up all together), cooking, dressing up, even swimming and so much more... I LOVE my days off. I like to spend them either with my family or just by myself. I try not to work and do something I never do when I work. But best of all, my days off help me rejuvenate, refresh and relax (hmm, seems like I just came up with 3 R's). But I didn't mean to write about myself. I want to write about you! The First Step to Getting Organized

Can you imagine for a moment how nice it would be to look around and see everything in its place?  Or, better yet, what if all of those tiny (out of site) places were clean and organized as well.  If you are anything like me, that would be a huge relief.  Although many of us do not realize it, unseen clutter that we know is there, causes stress.  So, how can you get rid of that unnecessary stress?  Clean it out and organize it. The fist step to any organization project is to make a plan!!  After all, it is hard to make it to your destination, if you do not know where you are going.  So, grab a pen and pad and start planning.  Go room by room and write down the things that need to be done there.  It is important to remember that this is not a list ...

How To Handle All of Those Papers!

If you are starting the new year off with an effort to get, and more importantly stay organized you probably have to deal with the issue of papers.  Sometimes when you look around it seems as if there are stacks of them everywhere, so how do you get a handle on the paper trail? 1.  Designate a spot in your office, or where ever is more convenient for you, specifically for all of your paperwork.  It is a great idea to either get a file box or a file cabinet, trays for incoming and outgoing papers, and a trash can. 2.  When you bring papers into the house, make sure you place them in the appropriate spot.
