Do YOU Have a Healthy Lifestyle?

Today, I was talking with a friend who was talking about being tired and worn out.  I find that this is a common feeling with many ladies these days.  What a sad predicament to be in, there’s got to be a better way to live right?  The good news is that there is a solution and it starts with making the right choices.

Some of these choices include:

Proper diet. It is important to eat a balanced diet, including proteins, carbohydrates, fresh fruits and vegetables as well as to limit the servings of foods that are high in saturated fats.  You will also want to limit your sugar intake.

Getting plenty of rest. A good night’s sleep does a body good.  Our bodies need the time to recover and recuperate from the stresses of the day.  A key to avoiding illness and increasing energy is to get a full nights rest, approximately eight hours are needed for most adults.  It is also important to keep your body on a schedule, by attempting to turn in for the night at the same time each evening and arise at the approximately the same time each morning.

Choosing to exercise daily. Exercise helps you to maintain an appropriate weight as well as to burn calories.  Your exercise routine does not have to be difficult but should contain a variety of exercises so that your body can continue to benefit from it.  Exercise can help to maintain a healthy heart and body overall.

  1. Begin by giving up fast food it is so full of fat, sugar, carbs, and all the wrong things for you. My daughter gave up soda and lost 20 pounds because it is loaded with sugar. Eat fish not fried 2 to 3 times a week, chicken 2 to 3 times a week skinless, lots of vegetables, and fruit and you will be getting there.
