1. What are the three words that best decsribe your business brand?

Young, Bold, Creative

2. What is your business’ strongest feature? What makes you stand out?

The strongest feature in our business is consistent delivery of excellent content in the area of parenting young entrepreneurs and raising financially smart confident kids.  Every day except for Sunday there is at least one new article on our site.  In less than 14 months we have put together nearly 500 articles, two teleconferences, several online courses and monthly tweet chats.

3. Why are you in business? What keeps you doing what you do and fuels your passion?

Raising CEO Kids exists to provide a resource for other families who have kids like I do, who want to make money, are bored with just academics and have talents, goals and dreams.  Our goal is to become the definitive source for families raising business-minded kids.  We are building it to contain the finance, business, legal, tax, and leadership information needed but also a place to connect with other families who are also raising kids interested in turning their skills and ideas into income.

What fuels my passion are the people who appreciate what we are doing and find value in it.

4. What are you most proud of in your business?

I am most proud of the nearly 300 interviews that I have done in the last year or so – over 150 of them being with young entrepreneurs from around the world and the fact that we have stuck with it inspire of all the challenges and obstacles we have had to face.

5. If you could give other business owners one piece of advice, what would it be?

The one piece of advice that I would give is to learn to walk away.  I am still struggling with this one.  It is easy to get so involved in projects that you lose track of the other things that need to be done.  Learn to set boundaries for how long and when you are going to work so that it doesn’t take over your life.  One more thing – personal self-care is so important for mom-entrepreneurs.  When we drain ourselves completely we have nothing left to give the people who are most counting on us – our family!

Sarah, love what you shared. I actually have a few entrepreneurial children (I have 5 total!) My 16 yo DD does writing, copywriting and social media setup and maintenance for solopreneurs. Since I’m in business, I do a lot of networking for her. Going to subscribe to your site because I love the concept. Thanks for sharing on Twitter, Silvia. Keep up the good work!
